Through its Virtual Design and Engineering, and the Materials and Sustainable Manufacturing technology research programs, it will deliver breakthrough science, advanced materials, smart information use and promote an innovation culture and economy.

An Environmentally Sustainable Australia

AutoCRC's Materials and Sustainable Manufacturing, and Powertrains, Fuels and Emissions research programs, will deliver technology that can be used by industry to minimise its impact on the environment through reducing waste and increasing the efficiency of recycling processes.

Promoting and Maintaining Good Health

AutoCRC's Safety and Intelligent Vehicle Systems, Materials Sustainability Manufacturing and Powertrains, Fuels and Emissions research programs, will deliver improved vehicle crashworthiness and crash avoidance technology and reduce emissions by producing more efficient and cleaner powertrains, promoting good health and well being for all Australians.
